The Electoral Commission Seychelles successfully completed the certification of the 2025 Register of Voters

The Electoral Commission Seychelles successfully completed the certification of the 2025 Register of Voters, marking a crucial step in ensuring a transparent and credible electoral process. In accordance with the Elections Act, the Certification takes place every 31st of March. A ceremony was hosted yesterday at the Commission in the presence of political parties and the media.
During the ceremony:
▪The Chief Registration Officer (CRO) officially signed and presented the certified register to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
▪The CEO handed over the register to representatives of political parties, reaffirming inclusivity and fairness in the electoral process.
▪Key insights on the voter registration campaign and certified register were shared.
▪A Q&A session allowed stakeholders to engage and seek clarifications.
This certification reflects our commitment to free, fair, and transparent elections.
The register remains open for any transactions until closer to the election dates, whereby another Register of Voters that will be used for the 2025 elections will be certified.
As we move forward, we encourage all Seychellois to stay informed and participate in the electoral process.
